Even Heather Mills' spokesman can't confirm the validity of her allegations against him, (she, of course, being known to be economical with the truth.)

Sorry.....I mean Paul McCartney and maybe I posted this wrongly. P'raps it should have been in celebrities. But now it's here..........it's not really an open question, as in 'What do you think?' and it should be.

Anyway... she's declared war on a guy with an impeccable reputation. And her reputation is in the gutter, where it belongs. Yes, Linda wouldn't have stayed with him if he was that much of a jerk. I hope his kids are standing by him now.......I'm sure they are. Stella has the highest profile of them and she really disliked HM.
HM is really showing how much of a prat she really is. If anybody saw her on tv with Paul, her disdain was obvious. But then , on a PETA show she did, she was saying to him, over the mobile, you can make me breakfast in bed......and she described how Paul used to ask which leg she wanted passing to her for a particular task. Does this sound like a battered wife?
I hope he leaves her penniless, and gets that young daughter out of her ugly way.

I've read a lot about Paul McCartney over the years, both things that he wrote and what others wrote about him, and I would never think of him as wife-beating or mean-minded. Yes, McCartney can be strong-willed and he's admitted to using drugs when he was young, but his long relationship with Linda (Eastman) McCartney would never have happened if Paul was a total jerk.

I'm inclined to think that Heather Mills is, as you wonderfully said, "economical with the truth." It reminds me somewhat of the Billy Joel/Christy Brinkley breakup, where he came across as a much nicer person than she did. Easy on the eyes does not always mean easy on the personality.
