Has anyone seen the farepack hamper thing in the UK?
how the company has gone bust and hundreds of people are going to be left with no Christmas food, even though they have paid for it?

I think we should all set up a charity and donate a few quid to buy everyone a little hamper (a turkey some veg, cakes, mince pies, etc) but how would we do it?

or is there a millionair out there whou could donate something?

If i win the euro millions on friday i will give a few million quid up for the scheem.

What do you all think,

PS i have not got a hamper with farepack and just feel sorry for all the familys let down.

The company bosses should be made accountable for their actions as well as the parent company
using peoples money for other things instead of what they were invested for IS FRAUD and as such must be accountable for or our law is a complete ***
it seems if you have money you can be above the law
The government of this country no matter who is in power should protect the decent lawabideing public from companies who dont care what happens to them.
its time we the general public acted with our money and pulled the plug on these companies who need our money to trade
So dont invest in anything other than yourselves save the money in your own bank accounts and bring all these companies down together.
only when they realize they are nothing without us will they start to treat us with some respect and treat us fairly.
Wake up britain your being taken for a ride
just think of the gas and electric increases if this hasnt got you angry yet
what about the water shortage or have you forgotten that till next summer?
its time to sit up and take stock of whats happening around you now
The fat cats are taking the cream whilst the public are scratching in the gutter for christmas
This could make a great new angle on the old scrouge story
but alas i dont think this will have a happy ending as fat cats have no feelings
Why are main news items about madonnas baby, paul mcartneys devorce go on for days and then items like farepak that realy matter are forgotten after 1 day
is it that the establishment want us to forget and carry on as normall and forget these poor people ever had a problem

regrettably many human beings in basic terms don't have the self discipline to positioned money aside and it is the in difficulty-free words way they could be able to sensibly shop for Christmas. bear in mind lots of those human beings do not actually have economic employer charges and stay in a money-in difficulty-free words international. someone includes their door and collects the money from them each and every week. once the money has been surpassed over they could be able to't spend it - which otherwise they probable might want to. Likewise if the human beings offered the vouchers themselves from the severe street shops, it would want to be too a lot of a temptation to spend the vouchers each and every time money replaced into tight. So, in spite of the actual incontrovertible truth that a commercial employer (and subsequently in business enterprise to make money) Farepak did somewhat furnish an valuable service to those without economic discipline. those human beings were exhibiting sense by technique of creating plans ahead and planning for yuletide particularly than strengthen debt. Dint overlook that Farepak did not make money from the human beings saving, yet made the money by technique of having bulk fee reductions. regrettably at the same time as they went bust it replaced into the savers who suffered - and those savers are commonly those who can least arise with the money for it, subsequently the nationwide activity.

Ive lost £960 in gift vouchers and my agent has sent off for a claims pack to start claiming our money back, but as far as i know we are supposed to be getting some of our money back but not all of it and it could take months..Also i heard that Farepak had invested every-ones money in a shopping channel which never took off and that's how they went bust,,but I'm only repeating what Ive heard.

I've got a tin of beans going spare. But I know what you mean. People have saved up hard over the year and now they'll get nothing.
What a crap time of year to go into liquidation - 2 months before xmas. Bah

Yes I have and I think it's utterly utterly despicable. What amazes me is why nobody seems to have asked yet WHERE THE MONEY HAS GONE. Sorry to shout, it just seems obvious to me and nobody has asked. There should be a criminal investigation.

PS Yes, I would donate something.....money-wise.
