A woman President??? I thought women were the First Ladies and the man was the President

I haven't seen one on the political "stage" yet that I think should be. She should be qualified, level headed and up for tons of criticism.

Personally, I think the perfect woman for president would be one who has had to juggle screaming kids (congress), feed a family on one paycheck, pay the bills (on time), and manage to be sane at the same time. I have always said that the best thing that could happen to the federal budget is a mom who has had to say -- over and over -- "I'm sorry, we can't afford that today."

To finish my answer -- I have yet to see a male candidate for 2008 that does anything for me, either.

The three that I can think of who might be capable of running are Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, and Condaleeza Rice. And none of them would make a good President.

Unless you have any other options, I'd have to say, none.

None of them at this point.

Maybe in the future when we have a deserving & qualified candidate. Not saying we don't need one, but let's not just appoint one to simply have a female president. (Some people think Hiliary Clinton, but does marrying a former president qualify you to run a country. She couldn't even keep her man satisfied....how's she going to keep 150,0000 million of them satisfied?)

Anyone capable of doing the job is probably smart enough to pass up the opportunity in favor of a job that pays more and offers less grief. Since opposing sides in American politics have sunk to the level of personal attacks, lies and dirty tricks, I cannot imagine anyone worth of the job wanting to subject themselves and their families to the election process.

What are you saying? That a woman should be? It's their turn? Since this is hypothetical, how about Golda Meir? or Margarette Thatcher? Ayn Rand?

Ann Coulter. I would vote for her in a New York minute. Finally we would have a president with some balls.
