Does anyone have a favorite comedy that didn't get the great reviews that it should have?

(I'm trying to look for a good comedy to see that isn't something everyone has seen and is widely recognized as a great comedy)

Waiting For Guffman, Best In Show, Spinal Tap, A Mighty Wind-in that order.
Christopher Guest Mockumentaries are so funny. Waiting for Guffman features Eugene Levy, Parker Posey and tons of other great actors. It's dry and sarcastic comedy about a small town that puts on an annual play about how awesome it's town is, but this year a talent scout will be in attendance. It's hilarious with hilarious quotes.

I evaluate "a guy For All Seasons" between the main underrated video clips off all time. This absorbing action picture helpful properties ingenious camerawork and greater suitable manufacturing values -- it quite is actual a play, however the script is so stable and Scofield is masterful ... one guy's conviction against the tyranny of Henry VIII makes for an eye-catching drama in a guy for All Seasons Political, religious and private niceties of the era are streamlined, and the action picture concentrates on the magnificent steadfastness of Sir Thomas greater. "Mississippi Burning" and "Yours, Mine and Ours" are the two too contenders.

There is one with Danny Glover and Joe Pechsie (spelling?) that I just happened on and loved- they are 2 buddies on a fishing trip to florida and everything happens from mobsters to fires to money to their boat cutting loose from the car etc- I'm sorry but I can't remember the name. Also of course the Aurthur series with Dudley Moore-he's my favorite drunk.

The Fighting Temptations - it is with Cuba Gooding Jr. Funny, little romance, okay story line and great music

I'm not sure what the reviews were at the time, but you rarely hear about this movie anymore. And most people I know haven't heard of it. But I think it's absolutely HILARIOUS:

I agree with GanG. Kung Pow was hilarious. Steve Oedekerk is really creative. He takes clips from Chinese martial arts movies and turns them into the funniest scenes.

Just playing today as I am off work.
I love comedies. Don't know any off hand with little recognition though as comedies usually get the most fare.
