What do you mean by the capacity? The length in minutes of an old 78 RPM record? I think each side was about 5 minutes. We used to have some when we were kids, and we'd play them on an old Hi-fi system that could play 78s.

The 10 inch 78s played for between 3 and 4 minutes per side, and the 12 in ones for about 4 and a half minutes. John Cage wrote a piece of music (called 4 minutes 20 seconds) based on this fact. It consists of total silence.

Most of those old gramaphone disks were played at 78 RPM, and were about 10" in diameter.
They didn't have the "capacity" like we think of today. But, most of them held about 10-15 minutes of audio per side.
