there are numerous reasons why you might be having pain again, and it may not even be related to the surgery. You can safely apply an ice pack to your nose for 20 minutes each hour to numb and lessen pain, but you need to see a doctor to determine the cause of the pain.

I'd think if your surgeon is off for the day that there would be someone covering for him and would be able to help you. You could also call Nurse Direct or whatever equivalent you have in your area at your local hospital.
