I want to hear your story.

I'm 24, but when I was probably about 12 or 13 (around 1994/95) I was using the ouija board with some friends. Of course being the naive kids we were, I asked when/how I would die. The answer: in 2008 in an earthquake in California. Back in the mid-90's that seemed so far away and impossible but now its less than 2 years away and I still think about it all the time! Especially this past week when I heard about the earthquake in Hawaii. My roommate was there on vacation and asked me to go, but I couldn't go b/c I couldn't afford the trip. Kinda freaky. I have friends in Cali and have thought about moving there...I'm not going to let what a ouija board told me over 10 years ago deter me from making a move. What do you think about that? Would you go to Cali in 2008 if I Ouija board said you would die?

Geez! I never said I was scared! I said I'm not gonna let what a ouija board told me 10 years ago sway my desicions. I just wanted to see what you thought and if you had stories. I'd rather go live in CA from 1/1/08 - 12/31/08 just to see what happens. Its an experience I'll never forget...even if you were just playing, I'm sure you would remember the date it said you would die. Give me some credit! Haha.

When I was around 13 I had a party and my friends and I asked it another friends boyfriends middle name. None of us touching the board knew the answer. The thing moved to isisisc. His middle name is Issac. When we asked the friend what his name was and she said Issac we freaked out.

I would not invite the Devil into my home in the first place, but since you were a child when you used the Ouija Board, and had access to it this is my response.

I would not step foot in California under any circumstances if I were not saved, I would move to Idaho, join a church, and fight for the Ten Commandments.

God is more powerful then the Devil and if you are saved then you are a child of God, and he will protect you, or bring you home in his time, but either way you will not fear death.

Once you become saved then by all means move to the Land of the Fruits, and the Nuts, and help to affect a positive change in your new community.

California needs Lot's of Christians.

You're way too old to still believe ouija boards.

Here's my story. When I was 12 I had my last slumber party. There I convinced several girls who they would marry, when they would die and what they would be when they grew up by very gently moving a piece of plastic over a ouija board. Of course only the really, really stupid ones actually believed it but the rest of us had them pretty convinced. You must be just about everybody's fool.

You should see Penn and Teller's BS episode on Ouiji boards. The way it works is by muscular reflection off of each other. They blindfolded people and turned the board around and they still went to places that were the same had they not turned it around, so it's not creepy, just a fun trick.

Just because you are so worried about it, I suggest you don't move in 2008. Sometimes when you have very strong belief in something, you just might bring it to yourself. Earthquake in Ca is very common. Just wait till 2009.

Someone moved the plastic thing!

Get over it. If you are that worried about it, just don't go!

I don't mess with nothing like that. If you feel that strongly about it then I suggest you don't go.
