=where I keep the vacuum cleaner and cleaning products. No one ever goes there but me. Safest place in the house as far as I am concerned!

If the "it" is small, open the cover of a book (preferably hard cover), take a knife and cut out a square in the middle of the pages of the book. Make sure you cut through enough pages so that there will be enough room for "it." Pick a book that no one else would want to read.

Depends on which "it" we're talking about. I hide a lot of naughty things around the house. My fav has to be my recipe box that I use to hold coupons cuz I know no one wants them, so they don't go in there.
