I have recently been getting bad grades in school. I have gotten the newfound "talent" to cry and stop in seconds. I have not been feeling like myself, and crying myself to sleep at night.

Are you a girl? If so, it's probably PMS. That happens to the best of us. I had it so bad yesterday. There was a concert in town last night (of people I don't really like) but I started crying because I couldn't go! I soon stopped crying immediately and laughed because it was so ridiculous.

If you're not a girl though, talk to your parents or a doctor. It could be a slight depression but don't worry--it's fixable and it will be okay :-)

Depression, maybe, maybe not if you are being picked on at school or some bad things are going on at home you may need to talk to the people who's making you feel this way. If you don't know whats going on with you maybe you should go see a counsel. They most likely know what to tell you, hey and remember God is always there.

Depression is a state of mind which utterly affects the body, and it seems to be what you are suffering from. In order to overcome your state, you need to identify the cause. I am not sure how old you are, but if you are in school and getting failing grades, you need to discuss this matter with a parent or school psychologist. They may be able to help you get back on track.

You might just be stressed.
So many people think they are depressed or that others are depressed, but really, they're just growing up.
Here's my advice: get healthy physically, and it might help mentally. Eat better, healthier, natural foods. Exercise (best way to relieve stress). Write in a journal, get your thoughts on paper for your eyes only. Take care of yourself so that you feel good. It's worth a try; you've got nothing to lose.

As someone that has a long history of depression, i suggest you see and talk it over with your Dr. My daughter had alot of luck with St. Johns Wort, a natural herb, she used during her highschool years. I suggest a good diet, a personal diary to write about your feelings and get on the net and research it.

Hello, You should talk to your parents about seeing a counselor. Go to your guidance counselor at school if you are comfortable and discuss ways to get some emotional uplift!

You probably need to go to the doctor... but why don't you talk to your parents or someone close to you first and see what they think is going on

If you don't want your parents to find out, go to befrienders.org. They are there for suicidal and depression help (then erase the history. go to the control panel and select internet options). If you don't mind your parents knowing, talk to them about it.
