Wooly Bear caterpillar's are my favorites. Eventually they turn into a Tiger Moth, which is ugly. But in their caterpillar form, they are adorable!
The older it gets, the more orange the stripe becomes. In the Spring, it become a moth.

They have the same cycle as any other caterpillar, just differnt outcome.

There are born into a cocoon, then they are a caterpillar, then they turn into a moth and die with in 48 after they turn into the moth.

how long do they live? well,,if they're all white and in my area ,,,not too long,,,,,,white means blizzard!!!!
