Curry may be correct, with some differences. First I don't think sub-species will have yet evolved; 100 years is not long enough. However, sub-classes and sub-cultures will have divided up and separated, much as he predicts. I don't think it will take 1000 years, as this is already taking place. If we continue to allow dim-wits to breed amongst one another, the process will continue to accelerate. We already see sub-cultures forming. This may eventually cause civil wars to occur more frequently.

Well, that really seems far-fetched.
As far as I see it, there are only two options.
We either thrive or we are destroyed.
Mankind risks many great catastrophies in the future. For example do you know what they did with the tons of nuclear waste? Alot of it is mankind fault. These catastrophies will be so devestating that nothing in history will be like it. That is if humans don't change their ways.
Despite what people like to think, we are not a very civilized society compared to our potential, and we can never advance as a race untill we become one.
So when we face destruction, our options is to develop an extremely intelligent society that is highly ethical and cares about their enviroment and fellow man, or we face imminent destruction.
Since the intelligence requried to create a civilization in the brink of destruction is vast, it will be long lasting. The intelligence required to pull something like that off would be over 100 times greater than the intelligence that was used to create the U.S. which even though it has many flaws but it is by far the best country in the world at this time(this is compared to other countries).
1000 years from now, humanity will be very different. Much more than can be concieved. It will be almost like a paradise. Cleaner air, food water. Almost all of the deseases will be eliminated. Science and Religion will become an inseperable bond. There will be genetic engineering to improve humans.
The biggest thing is that mankind will genuinely love his fellow man and care deeply about them.
Believe me it will happen, it is the most logical alternitive in the face of immense danger.

Evolution that leads to the formation of sub-species *can* under great environmental duress cause evolution in the course of a thousand years, but evolutionary timescales are more on the order of tens of thousands of years.
As far as the way Mr. (Dr.?) Curry predicts that evolution will go, if it was something as simple as hair color or amount of body hair, it would be possible. But what he is talking about is not just a trait with a simple, direct genotype to phenotype relationship. He is talking about the brain, and whenever using genetics to talk about the brain a lot of base assumptions go out the window.
His assumption is that lower-class people are lower class because they are less intelligent, rather than that life's situation dealt them a poor hand. It may be that poorer people are less fit if the possession of money and power are the selectional determinants of the modern age, but if they are intelligent, they can improve their lots in life (and many do).
On the other side of the coin, he is also assuming that rich people are rich because they are smart. I, myself, have met more than a few rich people who are dumb as a box of hair. The up and coming money-makers may be intelligent, but those who *have* money only need to know how to spend it, and that doesn't require any intelligence at all.
My guess is that Oliver Curry is in that upper class and his prediction is either playing to the upper class or is trying to serve as a warning to the lower class not to become too complacent.
In either case, I don't think his theory is worthy of much thought.

that is only a theory, Mr. Curry sounds like he read the time machine and or a move that I saw several years back about. the upper class testing all the children and if any of them turn out to be smart they kill them, or an other example aliens will came down and take over and cap all the humans once they turn thirteen years so they will remain docile. I do not believe that this will happen we will change for the better not the worst.

Oliver Curry appears to be a "publish or perish" who wanted to get his name into the paper.
Barring genetic engineering, in a thousand years, humanity will look pretty much the way it does today, but with a better tan, and less malaria.

The same as we looked a thousand years ago, which is to say, the same as we look now.
Mr. Curry sounds like a nut.
Since all kinds of people keep pro-creating with all other kinds of people, and because things like height have nothing to do with things like intelligence, there's now connection between the physical characteristics and the mental
