i took a test and it says no but i still feel like i am pregnant?

wait a little while... and test again... i dont' know what else to tell you other than wait... or get a stronger test... i know this may sound funny but the ones at the dollar general are pretty strong... and they are only a dollar...

I am in the same boat. However, my period is 8 days late. I have an appointment with my OBGYN tomorrow for blood work. I have a 3 year old daughter, so I have been through this before. I took a test yesterday (and this morning) and got a negative result. I NEVER have any warning signs that my period is coming except for the calendar. My cycle is 30 days so I start on the same say each month, maybe one day later on the months with 31 days. My breasts do not get tender, I don't get moody, and I don't have cramps. I have been noticing the blueish veins on my chest and breasts becoming more visible, which is the first thing I noticed when I was pregnant with my daughter. Occasionally I feel slightly queasy. I am exhausted, I feel like I am drained all the time (which I am sure is partly to do with being the parent of a 3 year old). I have had a back and neck, and head ache for the past 2 days. I am hoping to be pregnant again. So wish me luck at the DR office tomorrow. :) :) One possibility for getting a negative result (and still feeling pregnant), or getting a positive result and it turning out to be negative later is what is called a "chemical pregnancy". If you want to know more about it, search Google for "chemical pregnancies". They are quite common. I have had 2 of them.

I would talk to Dr and see about getting a blood test,that is most positive pregnancy test. Didn't get enough info if you bought a test at "walmart" or went to Dr office for test.But from what I am feeling on this,you should go to Dr and have test done. Good luck and will be praying for you ^j^

I think we need more info. If the pregnancy test is not done properly or you have not waited to miss your period, you could have a false result. I would make an appt with your doctor and have him do a test for you - store bought pregnancy tests are not always accurate. Good luck!

Did you miss a period? How soon did you test? Perhaps you tested too early (mine never show up early, not even with an early pregnancy test)

Or perhaps you want it so bad that you are developing the symptoms? That happens a lot as well. Stress can mimick some symptoms too.

Okay if you missed your eriod and it's negative schedule an appt with OB/GYN.
If you are right around the time for your period then relax, it may be late.
Some people have the weather and stress effect their periods. Mine is really off whack during the weather changes. Last month I had 3 periods!!!!

You're probably just psychologically pregnant. You should wait until you actually miss your period in order for the pregancy test to be accurate.

Some times they mess up.. Take another one (or 2) And if there still negative and your feeling funny I sugest you go see a doc.. Good Luck!

DON'T RELY ON THE HOME PREGNANCY TESTS. THEY ARE NOT AS ACCURATE AS YOU MIGHT THINK. I TOOK 3 WITH MY FIRST CHILD ALL WERE NEGATIVE, HOWEVER A ROUTINE APPOINTMENT WITH MY GYN PROVED OTHERWISE. WITH MY SECOND CHILD I HAD SUSPICIONS BY A REOCCURING BOUT WITH WHAT I THOUGHT WAS THE STOMACH FLU, HOWEVER I CONTINUED TO MENSTRUATE FOR 3 MONTHS. 2 TESTS PROVIDED NEGATIVE RESULTS IT WAS ANOTHER APPOINTMENT WITH MY REGULAR DOCTOR AND A BLOOD TEST THAT PROVIDED ME WITH A CONFIRMED PREGNANACY.
