Yes i always tear a lttle hole in the wrapping and then tape it back together when I figure out what it is. I am 30 i have always done this.

Yeah as a kid. I don't remember how old I was but I knew where the presents were hidden (parents' bedroom). One day I decided to rush in to have a peek and behold! My mom was in bed trying to sleep! I felt bad.

when my siblings and i were kids my parents always put the presents under the tree 2 weeks b4 x-mas,we would gently take the tape off see what was in there and retape them

No. It destroys all the excitement and the surprise. I don't consider it a really good present if I am not surprised and excited.

My kids love to give me hints about what my husband buys me and I always tell them I don't want to know. I wind up knowing but I act surprised when I open it.
