Him and I were togther for 2 years before he got locked up. He went away for 3 years and now he's here again claiming that he's different. And well I see it. I miss him but I am a bit scared. What should I do?

The boy's father has been in prison. You really think that he's reformed? So...who'd know better than you right? You take that chance. Know that if he still is the sh*thead that he was those 3 years ago....now you're stuck. Plus thats just a peachy existence for your boy.

If you're scared...then that means you have doubts. So go with your best instinct after thinking this over long and hard and knowing what the consequences will be if you make a bad decision and it turns criminal again.

Here's what I suspect. He'll come home. Fool around with you...dandle his son and make a fuss over him. Then..the pattern of "I'm going out with my boys" with the being away in jail so long as the excuse will surface. He won't come home...or at least at a decent hour. He'll start drinking....drugging...or worse. Next thing the cops are caving in your door looking for him. Or worse....your son ends up minus one parent because Dad is snuffed in a beef with some mope in a club somewhere over a woman at 3 in the morning.

Do you think that this is too far off the mark? For your sake I hope that I just have an overactive imagination and you get married, get a house with a little, white picket fence, a truck and a mini-van in the garage and hubby gets a job (legal of course) with a $50,000 or more salary.

Or is THAT more the dream of an overactive imagination. So...good luck. Remember one thing though. EVERYTHING from this point on hinges on the decision that YOU make. Be careful. Because there is no turning back.

honey they never change, i dont say this to be a ***** but from experience, dont do it, one thing i learned, never stay together or get married for the kids, think about this, what would happen if hes back in your (you & your son) lives and then he goes back to prison, what will that do to your son, i wouldnt do hun but its your choice whatever you feel in your heart...good luck!!!!! :)
