I had sex during my period, and afterwards, my period stopped abruptly. All of this happened about a week ago, and now i feel crampy, and sick to my stomach every now and then. What are the chances or even is it possible to be pregnant ? Has this happened to any of you?? I would like to take a test, but my period isnt due for another 2 weeks. Any feedback would be so great! Thanks!!

There is always a chance of pregnancy when having sex. It is possible to get pregnant during your period but the chances are low. Most females ovulate about 14 days after the start of their period but some females have irregular periods and can ovulate at different times. The best thing to do is to just wait another two weeks until your period is due and take a home pregnancy test. It is too early to test now because if you are pregnant your hcg levels are not high enough yet. Just take note of all the symptoms you are having and test in two weeks.

The purpose of your period is for your body to release a mature egg. That means there is one very ready to be fertalized before your period is over. Some preggers tests can detect up to a week in advance (before your period or lack there of). Then again, there is such a thing as a false pregnancy where your body believes it is pregnant and gets ready for a baby.

You had sex. Of course it is possible to be pregnant. You need to go get a test from the drugstore or go to the doctors office. Planned Parenthood would be another good place to go or the health dept.

You could be,but for safety sake,my advice is to check with your Dr or Health Office. It could be something serious instead of being pregnant. It doesn't matter when your period is due,if you are having pain and feeling sick to your stomach,there is something NOT normal,so please go check with the Dr or Health Dept ASAP,which means,,,,,,NOW ok? Anything is possible but most women get pregnant after there period because that is when they ovulate. I wouldn't try this again because it is very harmful to you and your mate. You are discharging waste from your uterus walls and that is not sanitary. But Good Luck.

It is rare but not impossible. Go have a blood test for pregnancy, they are more accurate. Still, it may need a couple of weeks more to be 100% accurate.

If you were having sex while on your period, there is a very slim chance you're pregnant. Don't stress about it!

what i know, its a higher percentage that u won't get pregnant while having sex during your period.. its advisab;y not to have sex during period as it has some side-affects.. for instance, u'll get more pain cramps...
