I need to know wheather it will have development opportunities in future or only in production support like that?

Very good future. Learn system, network programming in c/c++. Ur future will be good. Also learn JAVA if u can. U don't need anything more.

My stand is good on this one, just few days back real-time features were being streamlined to main Linux kernel, so Linux will appear on more embedded devices, where obviously c/c++ has major stake. So I hope and one among many to wish good future for c/c++ on unix/linux.

I cannot answer, but I know a man that says Unix was founded on C/C++. I assume he means it will withstand time.
