1. Put an ad in the newspaper, close to his city(if you know it)stating that you are wanting to locate (his name) for a junction to END child support and for adoption of minor child.(even though you are not)
2. Go to the Post Office of last known address and ask for the change of address information as it is public record. Follow it again if necessary.
3. Hire a private investigator to locate him
4. Look at the courthouse of last residence known and ask for any criminal records with his name in them.
5. Look up his family history. Locate a member you don't yet know with some made up story or something you are selling. Make friends with them and tread carefully. Try to get some info about him without letting them know who you are.

Dead beat dads can be real hard to locate. My suggestion is to contact your local child support office and let them handle it. They have access to national data bases. If he is not working legit then they will not be able to find him. If you know his relatives addresses or the address of his friends you can send post cards to everyone on the street or neighborhood in which he lives. The post cards should not be nasty in nature just tell the truth some suggestions - "Looking for Mr._______ he owes ______ much child support". or "Please help me find my child's father Mr__________". I have heard this works because the family gets sick and tired of all the neighbors knowing their business.

Go to social services or child support enforcement and give them allll the info you have on the bastard.
