I have found a "do-it yourself pest control" website that is a good source of information when it comes to getting rid of mice and other pests. Here is the link:

http://www.doyourownpestcontrol.com/mice.htm

A Yahoo search for " mouse control" (include the quotation marks in the Yahoo search box) turns up 594,000 results. There are many more sites worth exploring if you are willing to do the same search.

Good luck with your mouse problem.

Contact an exterminator right away--mice will start to eat away at the insides of your walls including the wiring and insulation. Once you contact an exterminator, take a look around your foundation to figure out where they are sneaking in at--plus getting a cat probably isn't a bad idea either. Good Luck.

Get a cat. Easy maintenance and I'll bet the mice will be gone within a month. Good luck!

Don't kill the rats, get a humane mouse trap and put some treats in it for them. They do work and mice like cheese but especially chocolate.
Good luck!

Best advice is to get a Cat. Rat poison is an option, but dangerous to humans. Mouse traps do work, but those are the only choices.

Mouse poison, traps, and steel wool. They can't chew through steel wool, so plug up all the holes you see inside and outside the house with that. That will keep anymore from coming in and finding places to hide. The poison and traps will kill them one-by-one and eventually your house will be mouse free.
