You know - your friends/family love him/her, they love you and you know they would be great for you, but you just don't feel it.

What did you do?

He's not a bad boy, so he's boring. I know I tend to get with bad boys cause they're fun, and we as women think we can "fix" them. It doesn't happen, and we get in trouble that way.

The responsible, hard working ones are hard to find. If he's perfect in every way, he's a keeper.

I hung in there until I found the one thing that made them NOT perfect. Then - I split. Everyone told me I was crazy for doing so, until I told them what I had learned. Everyone has something that makes them not perfect. It just depends on how much you are willing to overlook things or compromise.

But, if there is no chemistry - them THERE IS NO CHEMISTRY. There is nothing to do about that.

I let him go ( I was young at the time and he was ready to settle down) and to this day, 15 years later, still wonder if I should have held on to him. I guess I will never know. I love my family, but there will always be that nagging feeling of "what if".....

If the chemistry isn't there they should feel the lack too. I did this once and after a while we both just agreed we would be better friends and broke off the romance on very good terms.

Yep. There's no chemistry there.

I left the relationship in the past. Wouldn't work if I couldn't show love and feel passion. He wouldn't have been happy long term with that.

Yes. I broke up with him and never regretted it for a moment. That was several years ago. Went on to meet someone I did feel something for and have been with him for years.
