How do I find my dad?

Question

I know his name and where he used to live and that he was in the military but my parents were divorced when I was 6 months old. So i have never met him I am 29 now and I am curious on who he is if I have any other family?! I know I can pay people to do it but I dont have the money for all of that is there any free ways I could possibly find him?

If you have something with his Social Security # on it you can track him down through the Local Social Security office in your area. You can also check with your local military office they may be able to help you.
