I have 3, maybe 4 huge trees on my property, I would like them removed, and can't afford to have them removed. They are very, very straight, I know a couple are oak, don't know the others. Does the electric or phone company take down trees for poles, of course for FREE?

I think you'd have to call a logging company, but I'm not sure it would be worth their time/money to come and remove only four trees. It can't hurt to call and find out! Good luck

First, the electric company and the telephone company are private companies, not part of the government. So any rule that Government has to be separate from religion would not apply to them. They use the cross shape because it is a simple and practical geometry shape that serves the function needed for telephone and electric cable support. It has also been used in architecture and design long before there was a Christian religion, and by groups with no religious beliefs. It only has a religious meaning if a person decides to give it such a meaning. No one I know, when using the geometry shape as a support pole, is giving it a religous meaning. I challenge you to find a simple shape that has not been used somewhere by someone as a religious symbol. If the government is forbidden from using a geometry shape that has also been used as a religious symbol, then it would be unable to function. (Which might actually be a good thing....LOL)

No, the electric company will bill you for everything and anything. They are not a lumber company. They will not manufacture telephone poles.
