I love playing Candyland. Every time I land on a slide I have to drink a Guinness Stout..Every time I climb a ladder it's a shot of Jack! Great game!

You want to teach him the fundamentals of the game and whoever wins or looses does not matter. These games are short and are learning experiences. What a yoyo to not even want to loose at Candyland? What is the world comming to?

No, wait til they are about 6 or 7, then beat them... right now they need their confidence built so they can compete against other kiddos.

Play fairly, and what happens, happens. Children need to learn to play by the rules and accept the consequences.

That's pretty low that you can't throw a game to make a 5 year old feel better.

Hell yeah. If they can play...then they can lose. Make sure you do a victory dance following the win.
