Same reason the Iranians and North Koreans didn't have sanctions until a prolonged political hassle had gone down at the UN -- there were members of the Security Council who would veto any such proposal. For the Iranians and NorKors it was Russia and China; for Israel it's the US. And we do it because of political risks from the Jewish lobby -- which is the most powerful in the country, by their own boast.

YES...Israel is blindly supported by US...They vetoed every single sanction and condemnation against Israel (when they could)...And let's not forget that Israel has rejected more than 60 UN resolution,including the ones that ask them to give back the land they occupied...
Why would we expect sanctions against Israel?When Israel attacked USS Liberty US tried everything to keep this story away from the press,then tried to blame it on someone else...
So N Korea will be sanctioned for having nuclear bombs,while Israel can own the nuclear weapons 'cos no one cares...Maybe when they will use it there are going to be some sanctions...
Troops in Iraq are going to die for an imaginary reason and 'cos Bush can speak to God and tell hem to attack different countries...
So YES this world has gone nuts...

Yeah, I have been thinking about that too. Everyone is panic about North Korean or Iran but Israeli has done more than just a big bluffing. What they do have appeared right before our eyes and there is nothing we do about it. We are the ones have gone nuts.
