Because it's the corporate sector that is responsible for the major poluting that goes on to make their money ,,,,, Before bush was elected as governor of Texas ,,,,, the state of California was the nations No.1 poluter ,,,,,, After bush was elected ,,,,,,, Texas earned that title ,,,,,, We have a bunch of blitherring idiots in power right now ,,,,,,, Republicans have always catered to the Corporate sector in this country ,,,,, instead of legislating for what's good for the people ,,,,, Money talks and bull s**t walks so to speak ,,,,, The greater percentage of the Republican party ,,,,,if not all of them,,,,,,, is bought and paid for by the Corporate sector ,,,,,,, So why doesn't the government take steps to fight polution and global warming ??? Because it's not cost effective and any member of the corporate sector would literally stab their own mother in the back for that all mighty dollar ,,,,,, So s**tting in every body elses nest to make money is no problem for them ,,,,,, there is no way bush or the republican party would legislate anything that would hinder their buddies in the corporate sectors ability to make money ,,,, Trying to fight polution and global warming would create very serious financial draw backs ,,,,, Just as ANY republican ,,,,,, They do have laws on the books about poluting ,,,,, it costs 25,000 dollar a day to polute ,,,,, but when you are making 10 million dollars a day it's cost effective to just pay the fine and keep on poluting ,,,,, and these wastes are brokered all over the world ,,,,, There is alot more I could say about polution and how it's handled but it's a hugh subject that would just embarrass the Republicans and their corporate buddies and I don't want to be here all day answering the question ,,,,, If you want to breathe deep of the air ,,,, better get a filter ,,,,,,,
