I'm trying to conceive, but I'm also trying to lose about 10-15 pounds before I do. If I do become pregnant before this happens I will immediately stop trying to lose the weight. Any suggestions on losing the weight and exercise routines that I could possibly keep up once I am pregnant.

Hey girl! Me too. I want to lose another 10-15 lbs. I already lost about 15 lbs. I want to lose the weight by december so my husband and I can start trying in Janurary and feburary. The best exercise is walking, thats how i lost all my weight and a little weight lifting to get more toned. An exercise to do all through a pregnancy is a 30 min-1hr. walk every other day! And drinking lots of water and eating vegetables with every meal! email me saida7186@yahoo.com

There are many exercises you can continue to do once you concieve. Yoga light running walking swimming is excellent during pregnancy. Losing a few pounds is also a great way to concieve. I tried for 2 years to have a baby and after losing a few pound I did!!!

Good Luck to you!!!

walking on the treadmill helped me lose 30 pounds along with weight watchers and it would have been fine if I had gotten pregnant during that time.

My doc told me i could walk on the treadmill till my water broke. Ask your doctor, but most will encourage exercise. Mine told me no ab work and heavy lifting, but everything else is fine. Good luck.

AS LONG AS YOU ARE EATING ENOUGH THERE IS NO REASON WHY YOU CAN'T LOSE WEIGHT WHILE YOU ARE PREGNANT, JUST MAKE SURE YOU ARE GETTING ENOUGH CALORIES AND YOU CAN CONTINUE TO WORK OUT AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT DO ANY STOMACH EXERCISES AND NO HEAVY LIFTING.
