is it possible to get a job in the USA working as an auditor in Russia?

if a person is currenlty employed with Moscow office of american auditing company, are there any chances to apply for similar position in the US?

Does she/he have an American CPA and knowledge of GAAP? Accounting norms differ from country to country.

If the answer is yes, then chances of somebody hiring him/her (including the headache of sponsoring H-1 visa) are much higher.

I would try to get an internal transfer inside her/his company (let's say from Ernst&Young Moscow to E&Y-Chicago). If permanent transfer is impossible, try to get a temporary assignment / practical training in the U.S.
