Secure northern routes offer a safer direct link reducing sea journeys. Has Canada, USA and Russia considered a joint-venture operation?

A few more years of global warming and the northern routes will be open all year long. Great prospects for the northern countries.
Those hot dry countries at the equator will just get hotter, who cares. There is a lot more land mass in the northern half.

Uh, there already is a connection; it's called The Panama Canal.

Ships go through it all the time to get from the pond to the ocean.

I wouldn't put my snow shovel away too soon. You may not realize that in general global warming could cause glaciation and snow caps to grow due to greater precipitation levels and temperatures that still allow that precipitation to freeze and compress into glacial ice.
