If you could have changed one thing about your parents while you were a child, what would it have been?

I would change the fact that I didnt have parents, and grew up in foster care. You are very lucky to have had parents while growing up.

I would have changed the fact that I never got to know my dad as he was never in my life...
I would have hoped to not feel the pain I was caused from my mom, but having said both of these things, if I would not have had the life I had growing up I might not be who I am today, and I like myself... And have learned so much from my ups and downs...

My mom was a drug addict, and eventually it cost her her life, so I guess that's what I'd change about her. About my father, I think that I would've liked to have known him better as a child (I didn't get to know him 'til I was in my 20's).

I would of had my parents divorce sooner. I know most kids want their parents to be together for ever but they didn't get along at all.

That my mom wasn't so flighty and my dad could have kept it in his pants. They are made for each other and now in their old age they regret what they did to each other and want to be together. Too late, my mom is remarried.
