i hate to be away from my boyfriend and i feel alone when we are apart, I feel safe in his arms and i cant wait to be with him so we can spend some time together plus he feels the same way i do. is it love?

Yes. Because people who are really in love want to be together because they understand each other. (Key word: understand). And it's NOT an easy thing to find.
