very few have transferred direct and none in present day paul ince was the last player to represent both clubs but enjoyed a spell at inter milan in the interim period.you would have to go back to the 60's or even 50's someone else help us out good question

Paul Ince didnt go straight to Liverpool from Manchester United he went to Inter Milan first. I cant think of anyone in my life time.
