First, off where would you put a team probably in Indianapolis. Now that is pretty much the center of the state. Now in the northwest you have Cubs and White Sox fans that go to Chicago to see games. In the southeast, you have Reds fans that go to Cincinnati and in the northeast you have Tigers fans now Detroit is a long drive but they would make it occasionally to go to a game. So now you have to remove all the Minor league teams from the state cause even thou you it’s a nice size state they don’t have the money to support multiple baseball teams. Now those fans will be mad because you took away their teams. So it just wouldn’t make sense to move a team their.

While there may be loyal fans, the state of Indiana has struggled to maintain the two professional teams you have in the Pacers and the Colts.
As someone stated earlier, Indiana is a hoops state and should be able to support the Pacers without any problem, but the Colts were a stolen team much in the sense that Baltimore (where the Colts originated) stole the Browns from Cleveland, a city with a much larger and stronger fan base.
I recall a story a number of years ago before Manning and Harrison were lighting it up that there were rumors of the Colts being moved out to LA.
As long as the fans are there for these two teams, you should be able to keep them, but don't expect any expansion from MLB any time soon unless they decide to move the Marlins of Tampa Bay, but I don't believe Indianapolis is high on the list of new markets. I would imagine San Antonio, Las Vegas, or a team in the Carolinas would be higher on the list then Indy.

Yhe next MLB expantion will be a Pacific rim league, adding a division of 8 teams from Japan, Australia, the Phillipines, China or Hong Kong, Hawaii, New Zealand and perhaps South Korea. The league has been working this and expect to be doing it within the next 15 years or so. While Bobby Valantine has been in Japan managing he has also been working on this project for MLB.
For a team to relocate to Indiana, a stadium needs to be built. Till that's there no team.

I'm from California, however to see a team in Indiana much less a MLB team would be different, however it would be great... also in that token I would like to see a team in Hawaii, however we see if that will ever happen.

I do not know, the MLB does not need to expand anymore. What team would you move there? The Marlins, I suppose would not be a bad fit, at least they could stay in the NL East.

no the tv market is very small... MLB would not move a team there for that reason (although to me its very rediculous)

Indiana is a basketball place, but they suck at that too now, so I guess they should try something else!
