The idea isn't bad and I realize it is fiction but the last part of your story sucks. It doesn't flow smoothly and brings up lots of questions: What happened with all the burnt comic books? Did spirits come back to life from them or just the one? Why is ThunderBolt and the villians looking for souls in the first place? Is Thunderbolt, who has possessed Ricardo, looking to kill the villians, who have taken over Ricardo's teachers? Why not have the villians angry at Ricardo for burning the comic books and Thunderbolt having to protect Ricardo?

With work, this could be better.

Sounds interesting, ecpecially because Ricardo hates comics, he now might understand what it's like to me one and not be so judgemental. And, plus, I'm sure he'll have fun - and of course some trials - with being a superhero.
I give it a 7, but it could be higher if and when the storyline is better made known, as well as some morals consideration (like spider man, he faces some tough choices, and maybe Ricardo grows as a person becuase of that).

WOW!
Is your age on the scale? This seems a little childish to actually materialize into a movie/tv/comic book series.
