WE have a king so we know this is the mattress we want I just want to get an idea o f price before I head out to the stores.

Actually, a king size bed is the same size as two twin mattresses. (that is what they use for box springs for king mattress is two twin box springs). You might want to invest in a tempurpedic mattress pad instead of springing for the whole thing, most of the same benefits. Three twins or even two twins would be more epensive than king size, which will run you in the 2K range, I think.
