It means it is part of the 10th press; the 10th print run.

If you get books from the 1st run, they can be valuable.

well it's a number
and it's the one that comes after 9 and before 11
it's the first number with 2 digits in the decimal system
and it's what's called a round number
as it's got a 0 at the end
