mobile homes do not have the same amount of insulation as a traditional home. You can pay for an upgraded mobile home that has more insulation.

Depends on how well it's insulated, but in general I'd say they are worse then a house. They tend to loose the cooling from all sides, (roof,walls and floor) since they are installed above ground.
