In a fantasy football trade, I would be getting Brian Westbrook, and Braylon Edwards in exchange for Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson. I know that this may not look like a good deal for me, but my other QB is Byron Leftwich who has done better than palmer and also has an easier schedule. Also My second running back is either Reggie Bush, Dominic Rhodes, or Jamal Lewis, none of whom are lighting it up.

Should I give away a great QB and WR in order to stabilize my RB's and keep a very good QB in Leftwich as a starter?

No def. not. Dont even think about it.

Brian Westbrook is not much better than any of your other RB's you have, yeah his stats may show it right now but they have went through an extremely weak part of their schedule (GB, 49ers, Texans) and their last 8 games is MUCH tougher which will keep them out of the playoffs and will slow the statistics down a little.

I know Chad is struggling, but Braylon isnt so hot either. He only has 1 TD (so does Chad) and only 50 more receiving yds in 4 less catches. Plus you know Chad isnt gonna be stopped all year so by seasons end he'll have 4-5 more TD's than Edwards and 200 more yds easily.

Same with Palmer, by seasons end look at his stats and they will outshine Leftwich's stats. Palmer is a great QB who has just struggled as of late. He will get it back on track and will get C. Johnson back into a groove. Plus they get Chris Henry back who is a pretty big part of the passing game b/c thats another talented WR who could be a #2 guy playing in the slot and opening things for Whosurmama and Johnson.

Dont do it...

I have had chad johnson all year and would love to get rid of him since he has done literally nothing. but i can't get equal value for him so I will probably just hang on to him. leftwich or palmer? i might go with leftwich, knowing he has an easier schedule. I also have reggie bush, who hasn't done much. I'd probably go with either dominic rhodes or jamal lewis. I know bush has a bye in week 7.

Good Luck!!

I would trade away Leftwich for an RB instead of Palmer. If weeks 15 and 16 are your playoff weeks then keep Johnson. He's had good history against Indy and Denver. Palmer isn't doing as well as last year but I would keep him. So if you can trade Leftwich for an RB go for it, but if not you should go ahead with Palmer. I would keep Chad.

The key to fantasy football success is consistently decent #'s in your QB's and studs for RB's, not stud QB's and mediocre RB's. Chad Johnson has been far less productive than he has been expected to do, and Edwards is doing decently enough. However, the most important component to this trade is Westbrook. In addition to his rushing #'s, he consistently gets yards in the passing game, and should instantly become your #1 RB the rest of the season. Leftwich is decent but not great, but you dont need great QB's to succeed. Peyton Manning isn't nearly as valuable as, say, LT or even Clinton Portis.

I would do the trade.

Brian Westbrook is such a versatile back, he will always give you points. Braylon has big play potential, but he is in Clevland. You will be giving two players that have not lived up to expectations this year and your back ups are just as good. You should make this trade as long as you supplement your recievers (probably trade one of your RB's)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Palmer is good and is going to playoffs
Chad is a good hook up with palmer

Westbrook will get injured by week 14
Braylon Edwards has Frye as QB(not good) and plays with CLE

Leftwich will not be the better later down the road and could get injured!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
