Anyone test out the wives tales for having a boy or girl? If so-- which ones and were they right?

I had always heard that the first baby clothing you see when looking at baby clothes, is what you'll have. First thing I saw was baby girl stuff.
Another one I had heard was If it's easier for you to pick out a girls name,it's a boy and if it's earier to pick out a boys name, it's a girl. When It came to names, it was I couldn't ever think of a girls name. Boy names where much easier.
I had a beautiful little girl. The one about how high or low your stomach is and how round the tummy is,both worked on a friend or mine.

well my mom has 6 children and my 2 month old son will be her 11th grandchild. She always dreams about gold jewelry when someone was having a boy. Funny thing is, she's right most of the time. My friend had a dream she was giving gold jewelry to another friend and it turns out that she was pregnant with a boy also!

none are true, what you have has nothing to do with a wives tale being right or wrong cause its 50 50 no matter what you do

I just new before i even started trying to have a baby that I would have a boy first. Its all i ever talked about.
But i am carrying a basket ball in front, they say thats a boy.
The ultrasound said its a boy though... lol, i like that truth better.

Not one of them were right for me, the heartrate was wrong it said girl, the chinese gender prediction was wrong as well, it said girl.
I'm having a boy!!!;-)
But doing all the test was very fun

The Haitians say that when the mother is having a boy, she looks beautiful. If you are having a girl, the girl takes away all your beauty and you become ugly during your pregnancy.

I was told that whomever was on top woud determine the sex of the baby. It was right for me(although I was already pregnant when I was told that) LOL.

If the baby sits low in the belly it will be a boy.

salty
veggies
etc.
girls:
sweets
fruits
etc.
don't believe the "low or high" crap...I'm carrying VERY low and 3 ultrasounds confirmed it was a GIRL
