the hamsters arent the expensive part. The cage,hay,food and toys are. Makes sure u get a little house and put some of that fluff in there for them and gie them lots of chew toys and stuff. I have a hams son ter for my also hamsters do better ALONE than with another hamster :)

Since everyone else covered the cost part I'll tell you this...the large 'Syrian'' Teddy Bear' or black bear hamsters should be housed separately. Even though they are in a cage all together at the pet store, they will go through adolescence and then begin to hate each other/fight/ and two males can fight to the death.
If you want two, make sure to get dwarf hamsters.

Call a local pet store and find out from them. I'm guessing, from last I saw, between 7-10 dollars.

It really depend! Some places have hamster for 2 for $5, and others have buy one get one free. Just depends. I wouldn't pay over 10 for one though. Alot of people give them away if you will check your local paper, they are listed all teh time here. best of luck with finding your new pet.

Probably nothing if you look in the paper or want Ads. Hamsters breed like crazy and if someone has one that has babies they usually end up with like 20 of them, and are more than happy to give them away.

depends on where you go, you can buy a hamster for like 8 dollars at petsmart, so roughly around 20 dollars.
