They don't but the Democrats did help them a bit during the Clinton adminstration, but the democrats were also their antagonist during the 1940s and 1950s until Eisenhower became President. You are trying to associate political parties with an antipathy against America. It doesn't wash. The governmental policies of both Democrats and Republicans towards North Korea has been one of revenge for the stalemate of the Korean War. The same thing is happening with Vietnam. We are sore-losers and sanctioned North Korea and Vietnam, however with Japan, so nobly defeated, we supplied aid and any efforts to rebuild the country and did the same in Germany. We are doing the same with Cuba....we didn't win so we stiffle them as best we can, and since the US controls the UN...they follow suit. Don't kid yourself that it is a political party but far worse than than, a need for vengence.

Because democrats are easier to manipulate to get what N. Korea wants. Bill Clinton and his gang of negotiators were wonderful in this regard. Bill wanted thing quiet at any cost. While he was in power, so he gave what ever he had to give to do it. He didn't care that he was giving the technology to the enemy, he also didn't care that the next administration would have to deal with it.

He shouldn't. Tough-guy Bush has said repeatedly that he's not going to invade them like he did Iraq. (That's because THEY ahve WMD's!) What a wuss Bush is!
