Yup, you could... you could also be having a girl too though. No real way to tell without an ultrasound and if still no luck there, then you'll have to wait for the baby to arrive.
Hopefully you won't have to though.

On the other hand, you could also be having a girl. congrats again!
I'd say there's a 50-50 chance, based on how your baby is lying in the womb at 17 weeks, on it being either a boy or a girl

I dont care what anyone tells you, the only way to tell is by having a sonogram, but wishful thinking never hurt anyone...I had three boys and all mine were head down the whole time, and I had no sonograms so I had to wait, and thought I would have girls, by listening to all my moms folktale/midwives tales...

what???? at 17 weeks the baby can flip upside down adn back again over and over. and whatever position there in has nothing to do with the sex

Yes....or a girl. All these things they tell you are just old wives tales. You'll have to have a sonogram and/or an amnio to know the sex for sure.

not necessarily...my baby was upright for a long time and I'm having a girl. The position has absolutely NOTHING to do with the sex...trust me.
