I'm fasting for a CBC blood test, no other reason.

This is the month of Ramadan and ALL Muslims are fasting and no... no water no food no supplements.

The idea is to get your mind off of food and onto spirituality. You will feel hunger but you need to deny your cravings.

If you are fasting a 24 hour fast (24 hours a day) then it would be permissable to drink water and MAYBE even juice but that is up to the one that is fasting.

Are you fasting for religious reasons? Or are you just fat? If you're just fat, don't be a retard, and diet the right way. Fasting will only ruin your metabolism. When you starve yourself, your body starts eating away at your stored fat cells, thus making you lose weight. If you're not dead by the time you decide to start eating again, your metabolism will be so screwed up, that you'll just balloon out worse than you already are. It will then be even harder to lose that weight.

Making dietary changes is your first line of defense in treating hypothyroidism. Learn here https://tr.im/iKiVT

Many people with hypothyroidism experience crippling fatigue and brain fog, which prompts reaching for non-nutritional forms of energy like sugar and caffeine. I’ve dubbed these rascals the terrible twosome, as they can burn out your thyroid (and destabilize blood sugar).

1. Just say no to the dietary bungee cord. Greatly reduce or eliminate caffeine and sugar, including refined carbohydrates like flour, which the body treats like sugar. Make grain-based carbohydrates lesser of a focus, eating non-starchy vegetables to your heart’s content.

2. Up the protein. Protein transports thyroid hormone to all your tissues and enjoying it at each meal can help normalize thyroid function. Proteins include nuts and nut butters; quinoa; hormone- and antibiotic-free animal products (organic, grass-fed meats, eggs, and sustainably-farmed fish); and legumes.

When boredom, depression, or stress causes cravings, find a nonfood way to fulfill them such as going on a walk, calling a friend, getting a bath, reading a book, or maybe doing some yoga.

Get a plant for your office—watering it is going to make you more active.

I have read a lot on fasting, online and off. I think you should read up on it a good deal before trying it, and most recommend juice and fruit not just strict liquid.

Muscle mass uses up more calories, so include three 20-minute strength-training sessions per week.

Keep a little water glass, which you ought to refill often, instead of a substantial water bottle on your cubical.
