Don't get me wrong, the Bears are a good team. But they got lucky as hell that game. When the game comes down to a 40 yard field goal, and the other team misses it, that's luck. When Rackers "Ray Finkled" that kick you know every player on the Chicago team was thanking his lucky stars.

A single play can be chalked up to luck, but not 3 touchdowns. Edgerrin James did not just fumble, Urlacher ripped the ball out, and almost took his arm off, a very athletic SKILLED play, Andersen stripped the QB of the ball for a TD, and the Bears have a great punt returner and good blocking. These are all great athletic plays, there's no way to get LUCKY on a punt return, 11 guys all have to do their job better than the other team. They also gave up almost no rushing yards in the 2nd half, stopping the Cards from running the clock.
It's kind of funny that people call the Bears lucky, when really it was the Cardinals who had all the luck. 6 turnovers from a relatively turover-free Bears team all year? Grossman, 100 passer rating coming in, has a 10.7? 1-4 team taking a 20-0 lead on an undefeated team? That's luck, things just evened out in the end. The game is 60 minutes, not 30.

They got really lucky. Sure the defense turned it up in the second half, but I think the Cardinals should be credited with 2 Losses and the Bears should get nothing ;-)
How do you not win a game where you don't give up and offensive score and force 6 turnovers? Unbelievable. The Cards are a joke.

My Husband and I kind-of lost interest in the game when the score was 20-0! After awhile we didn't realize that the game was over so we had to watch it on the "recap" and we couldn't believe that the Bears Won! Yes, I myself think that they were lucky and also I think that Arizona was really "pumped up" from their fans since they were playing in their new stadium for the first time! So I would say I think it was a little of both!

i think that having some luck isn't a bad thing, there def.played very well, specially when it counted .it doesn't matter how bad there offense did ,its a team sport and u have a offense and a defense not just 1...when one is struggling the other will step up that's a team ,no matter how they pulled it out its a win and a team win at that ..........it goes to show everyone that u should never stop trying ........and to your question ,they were lucky and dam good ...........no I'm not a bears fan but fan dolphins fan.........

Partially lucky, but good. When your offense self destructs like theirs did, and your QB has a 10.7 passer rating, and you still come back from a 20 pt deficit to win, you have gotta give it to Chicago's defense and special teams.

A little bit of both i think. But if you watched Urlacher from the end of the third quarter on, he was all over the field on nearly every play. Something snapped inside him, and the defense just took over. We can say it was luck, which they were. But its amazing when Grossman was having such a bad night, they only way they were going to come back was keeping him off the field, and they did!

A combination of both, it took luck for Arizona to make as many boneheaded mistakes as they did in the 4th quarter, and the Bears were good for taking advantage of those mistakes. The great teams find ways to win, even bizarre ones.

DA BEARS weren't lucky or good, Arizona just stunk up the place in the second half to the point where they even knew that DA BEARS would win
