it is possible, but they need to focus. i am a cardinals fan, but if the mets really wanted to make it to the world series, they could.

In 25 previous league championships that have had a Game 6, the team trailing 3-2 has come back to win 8 times, or 32% of the time.

So, the Mets have about a 1-in-3 shot of winning.

I don't think so, the pitching matchups in the next two games just favor the Cardinals too heavily. Plus the Cardinals are playing all aspects of the game as a team, (role players are coming up huge) Taguchi, Duncan, Suppan, Eckstein all Homered, while the middle of the Mets order is carrying them. Plus Pujols is still having a quiet series and could blow up at any time.

I believe they have a chance.

However, winning The World Series will more difficult.

As much as I hate to admit it
I am afraid of The Tigers' pitching staff.

I think The Metss will lucky to win 1 game.

Sure. St. Louis is a good club, but they still have a lot of flaws. The Mets have the next two games at home, so winning both of them wouldn't be a stretch.

Anything is possible. I am an underdog fan, and I always like different teams to be in the world series, superbowl, whatever each year. Damn Yankees, go Tigers!

They are going back home........."home sweet home"....the home field advantage will help a lot....they can still get there.....if Joe Torre had thought about it in the Marlin series....he would have another Ring now

The Mets aren't going anywhere but home.
