That they thought there were going to be a lot of "Steve Irwin" costumes this Halloween, complete with fins and spikes coming out from the chest area and seaweed and stuff. I couldn;t believe it. I really hope I don't see any, it's too sad. (but, kinda funny) I just feel it's inappropriate...what do you think?

If done in good taste and as a tribute to Steve then it is OK. If it is done as a joke.... no one is laughing.

Unethical maybe, but not inappropriate. Costumes could be something like a tribute to him. I don't see anything wrong with wanting to wear the costume of a deceased person who actually provided society with something GOOD, unlike a Freddy Krueger costume, or something like that.

I think "it's too sad. (but, kinda funny)" is inappropriate too. What's kinda funny about a costume like that?

while it's not exactly sensitive to the Irwin's loss, that it probably a very true fact, I just hope the people don't get too gruesome with the costumes, I don't know if I can avoid smacking them aound if they want to be too overbearing

My ex told me just last week that he was considering making a costume like that for halloween. I told him I wouldnt speak to him for awhile if he did. Then, i told my bf's family about it, and they all thought it was very wrong, but funny. I think it is sick, so soon after his death.

Not as inappropriate as reanimating Audrey Hepburn's corpse

It's probably going to be a popular costume around frat houses and college campuses.

I think it's funny!
