I have a suggestion, born of some experience,,,and with no offense to you, those brand "shoppers" or the barnd companies.

Consider this as a possibility, and a fact historically.

A large manufacturer, perhaps in another country, gets contracted to craft an item,,,often similar in style, color selection, etc. , by multiple brand name sellers.

Once the item is manufactured, whether by the original manufacturer or the brand name supplier, there is often no more difference than sewing or embroidering a brand name onto an item. Example: cargo pants, olive, all the same seamstress, from the same factory, with multiple, various brand names applied for the market place.

The repsonse by consumers is purely driven by advertising, and suggestion.

I like both Old Navy & Gap. Banana Republic is out of the question because it is so expensive. I like Old Navy because their stuff is so cheap and you can find some really cute things sometimes and if you're lucky, a very good deal too. Gap is good too because they have all of your basics, for work and play. And their prices are not bad either, if you buy them when they are on sale/clearance. 99.9% of my wardrobe is either Gap or Old Navy, not kidding.

It depends what i am shopping for...for work clothes, Def Banana because its classic and quality. If I am looking for in between clothes-day out or casual/work-then Gap-plus they have the best hoodies! I like the tee shirts at Old Navy, but I don't buy any apnts there-they never fit right

Ditto with the first answerer about Audrey Hepburn. I will not shop there again until they take that off the air. VERY bad taste. But besides that, I prefer Old Navy...though I hate their commercials as well, I do like their clothing because it is comfortable and more my style.

BR clothes look the best, but they are all some what low on the quality scale for thinner knits and lower priced items. I always have had bad luck with these stores.
