Yes. There is no such thing as gender monopoly when it comes to names. Tradition alone causes people to recoil at the thought of giving boys feminine names -- not law or birthright or anything else. While a name like "Jessica" would definitely stand out, our society is open enough in general to welcome harmless differences; and while it might cause problems with teasing and bullying, a real man would stand up to it.

Okay first of my name is Jessica and I am A GIRL...however, I went and ate at this restaurant called "On The Border: Mexican Grill and Cantina" and our waiter was a GUY NAMED JESSICA! How akward is that? Well, in a way I guess it fit him, because it appeared as if he was gay, but still...I think his parents should have named him something else.

The only way that can be use for a guy if is he's a transsexual or a travesty. Jessica is only for women.

well, guys can have the nickname jesse, i guess its possible to be named jessica.. i personally wouldnt name a guy that, but hey, thats me

yes you can have what ever name you like. The only thing is if someone see the name and not see who they are speaking to they might mistake you for a female.

I guess he can but it is traditionally a female name...there are a lot of unisex names like Leslie, Sandy, Pat, Sam, Joe ect.
