I'm 6 months pregnant. I don't have the energy to do my hair and makeup in the morning and my jeans don't fit so I've been wearing sweatpants. I feel like a slob. I always tried to look my best before. Should I try harder or is it acceptable for pregnant woman not to look their best? You know what I mean?

Sweatpants was my official pregnancy uniform! Go with what makes you feel comfortable. If you really want to look cute, then try to make the effort, but high fashion wasn't on my list when I was pregnant.

I think you should try harder. I know you are tired but you'll feel better when you look better. You can look good and still get plenty of rest. Wearing sweats is acceptable but not all of the time. Pregnant can be beautiful! If you start letting how you look go next you won't care about what you eat or how much weight you gain, you'll simple be unhealthy. Not to mention your man might like to enjoy you being pregnant too, and yes looks are important to a man.

Best of luck with the baby and Congratulations! : )

Do whatever makes you feel COMFORTABLE! You can still look great wearing a pair of sweatpants. The only thing is, if you keep up on your appearance, you may actually find it makes you feel better, instead of feeling run down. Do whatever it takes to make you feel happy about yourself, and don't worry about what anyone else will think of you. Being pregnant is a good excuse for just about anything, unless you overdo it!

you do whatever make you feel comfortable. I am so lazy and don't dress up hardly. But i do put on make-up and wear something somewhat cute (that i can fit in) for my hubby during the weekend (when he is off work). Now during the week i don't do much. But i would say once or twice a week look good for your man.

Also, make an attempt to do something fun like movies, baby shopping (or browsing), dinner etc. at least once a week to keep you busy.

I take baths, this way I feel better. I get my hair done, so it stays for a while, and as far as makeup, I love it onme. It makes me feel my best. Try putting on a little.

You need to wear what ever you feel comfortable wearing. If you don't feel like dressing up, don't. But if you worried about looks and what people think. Just pull your hair back and wear casual maturnity clothes. Though the most important thing is dressing the way you feel comfortable.

Been there and done that. The only thing I found to help is that one day I FORCED myself to pamper myself! I got my nails done, I fixed my hair, I took a long warm bath, I had a pedicure, I dressed up, I did everything that used to make me feel sexy. Once I had finally done it I got out of my funk because I saw what I could look like again. Try to pamper yourself, even if you have to force yourself to do it, you'll be glad you did.

i completely understand
its ok if you want to wear sweat pants, but obviously youre not comfrotable wearing them
if you have any time you should try to look your best because it will help you feel better about yourself

also, they make elastic wastbands you can sew into your regular jeans

try embellishing your sweat pants, or try buying some cheap yoga pants

BEST OF LUCK
