I laughed when I read your question, YES that commercial is beyond creepy. I hate the part where Abe is like "hello honest Abe!"

I love that commercial. I laugh out loud when I see it. It is just supposed to be that those crazy, random things you dream about are supposed to be "missing" you because you have been missing getting sleep. Think about things you've dreamt of....sometimes the symbols are so random--"there was a boat and on it, I was wearing a football uniform, then the president showed up in a mumu..."--you get the idea. In his case (the character in the commercial) it happened to be Abe Lincoln and a beaver, etc.

It doesn't freak me out. It's just saying that in that guy's dreams, he usually sees a gopher and Abe Lincoln. They are talking to him because they are concerned that they haven't seen him in a while, due to the guy's insomnia.

It is pretty weird, but the commercial is about dreaming. And, I guess that the guy in the commercial dreams of playing chess with a groundhog and Abe Lincoln. It is pretty weird, but not as weird as the Burger King commercials where the king wakes up in bed with that dude. Now, thats weird.

It was a beaver and athe point of the ad for Rosera is for people with insomnia to consider some form of sleep medication to help them sleep. This should not freak you or anyone else out.

Yah, it's weird, that's for sure. I guess they use the characters as an attention getter. I'm still trying to get the connection of the characters. I saw the astronaut for the first time last night and then I got really confused. Still wondering . . . .

It is creepy...you think they could have represented people's dreams with a beautiful ocean scene or something else. I never dream about past presidents or groundhogs, or beavers....or whatever that thing is !
