Yes, it's absolutely fine. And I think it's very sweet. It kind of shows that you aren't afraid if everyone else knows that you like that person. Just don't take it too far. Hugs and kisses are fine.

That's called PDA. Public Display of Affection. And its a sliding scale. Holding Hands, perfectly fine. A quick kiss, still okay. A real kiss, pushing the envelope but still alright. Tongue action, crossing the line. Fondling, definite no-no. Any further and you could be arrested for indecent exposure. Showing affection is cool, being risque is not. Though some people are really old fashioned and think holding hands in public is bad.

Not at all in the right category, but I offer this.

Public displays of affection, with consideration for how far one takes them in expressing, respecting that some others might be uncomfortable, offended or even jealous, should be tempered.

Certainly a hug, or a kiss in public is probably appropriate in a moment, and likely might not be cause for a public "stoning"

An opposite example might be,,, I'd think twice before crushing an end cap of fresh tomatoes in a grocery store, to engage in anything that might best be saved for when you both get home.

YOUR personal inhibitions, or lack of them, might never coincide with anyone elses, and if you're mature enough, evolved enough, to be secure enough in what emotions you share with another, then it might be that you can HOLD OFF?

OK is relative,,, as I've tried to show examples in regard to.

I suspect that you already know the limits, bounderies, temperance models one might use, in public.

It all depends on how you show it. Holding hands- is fine. A little kiss, is fine. walking around with your hands on the butt or back pockets of your GF, disgusting. Making out in Public- Disgusting. Hanging all over each other- Disgusting. You can show your love in public and not be disgusting about it. Somethings aer appropriate for the privacy of your home and nobody wants to see it.

As long as you are not there making out. Holding hands or walking arm in arm and an occasional kiss (closed mouth please) is okay, but it is disgusting to see two people making out in public. There is a time and place for everything.

Hugs, kisses, holding hands, arm and arm, arms around eachother is fine...making out (like REALLY making out) should be done somewhere else.
