Absolutely, and here's why: Anytime an action is met with positive results, that action is apt to be repeated. If it is met with negative or disappointing results, it is apt to be avoided. If you reward even the most expected things in someone, that person is apt to try to do more next time. It also shows that you care about the person and that they've made the effort to do what you expect of them.

unfortunately yes.....like giving a child a reward for good grades when that's what should be expected. Or a Christmas bonus for doing a good job all year, you're SUPPOSED to do a good job.
